Rainbow Casino & Bingo:
This tribal casino opened in 1993 in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Nekoosa is located in central Wisconsin near the Wisconsin River and has a population of about 2,600 people. The name Nekoosa translates to "running water" or "swift water". The tribe changed the casino name to Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa in 2010. The Ho-Chunk Nation owns and operates six casinos in Wisconsin. The name Ho-Chunk means "sacred voice people of the Pines."
